Job Description:

Aitken Spence Hotel Management is seeking an experienced Purchase Supervisor to manage daily purchasing activities and oversee procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in the hotel industry and possess excellent negotiation skills, market survey skills, and quality control knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Managing daily purchase activities and overseeing procurement and supply chain operations
• Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Conducting market surveys to identify new vendors and products
• Drafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms
• Ensuring the quality, quantity, and timing of product deliveries
• Proactively managing inventory levels
• Performing quality control checks on all incoming products
• Scheduling deliveries and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely receipt of goods
• Providing product knowledge training to other team members
• Setting priorities and managing time effectively to meet departmental goals and objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management in the hotel industry
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals with optimal terms
• Proficient in market surveys and product knowledge
• Ability to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
• Proactive and able to work independently
